Construction
Where the money went.
There is no frame on show here, which is precisely the difficulty. Every line has to be right, because nothing is hidden behind timber.
One continuous curve
The back sweeps round without a break or a seam at the shoulder. It is the hardest part of the piece to make and the first thing you notice.
Hand-run piping
A single piped seam traces the whole silhouette. It holds the shape taut and stops the upholstery softening into a beanbag over time.
Legs cut from the body
Three legs, upholstered as part of the shell rather than attached beneath it. No visible fixings, no join to come loose.
Good to know
Everything else you asked.
Cleaning muddy paws
No panic necessary. Bubbles encouraged. Accidents happen when muddy paws meet upholstery, which is exactly why the collection is made in FibreGuard — stain resistance is built into the fibre, so water is usually all you need.
What to have on hand: a paper towel or serviette, a clean microfibre cloth, a spray bottle of plain water, and clear glycerine soap as backup. No detergents.
- Blot, don’t rub. Use the paper towel to lift as much of the mess as possible.
- Dampen the area. A light spritz of clean water — enough to dampen, not soak.
- Work in small circles. Use the microfibre cloth in gentle circular motions to lift the stain rather than spread it.
- Re-spray and repeat. Still a mark? Another spritz, more small circles. Take your time.
- Only if it holds on: wet the area again, work in a trace of clear glycerine soap, and repeat the circular motions.
That is it — no drama, no specialist cleaner. FibreGuard is pet friendly, child friendly and, let us be honest, adult friendly too. This is luxury that lives with you rather than one that only photographs well.

Materials & size
Frame: solid oak, built by hand and fully enclosed. Unlike the Lounger, no timber is left on show — the oak is structural rather than decorative.
Upholstery: FibreGuard performance fabric over a shaped foam shell, finished with a single run of piping around the whole silhouette.
Size: one size, Small–Medium. It suits cats and smaller breeds — dachshunds, terriers, toy poodles. For anything larger, the Boujee Lounger comes in a Medium–Large.
Fabrics: seventeen FibreGuard shades across three collections. The chair photographed here is upholstered in Parchment.
